Well, the samurai project keeps advancing...I'm actually designing the lead characters for the book right now.
The first character i came up with, was Aiko, a young Japanese beauty. And belief me when i say it's really is difficult trying to make a lady look gorgeous in a kimono !!!! But anyway after hours and days of contact sketching, i just had to end up with something. Personally, i think she looks cute... more than I'd imagined her.
West and the mysterious lady were quite a challenge as well. Since the characters were from different nationality, i wanted them to look just like that. So that, anyone can tell not only who is who but also from which continent they're all from just by starring at them.
Concerning Jiro, he was less challenging...can't really give a reason why. But I'm still thinking of working on his looks.
